“After the realization that I was approaching one decade of fighting a battle with food and myself, I made the decision to seek professional help. I’d already encountered countless therapists, groups, and programs, so I was skeptical of anyone else’s ability to help me. In fact, I truly believed I was unfixable. “Going into 2021 I knew I had to make a change. I had spent the better part of 15 years stuck in the never ending diet cycle. With that comes anxiety around food, guilt, shame, poor body image and much more. “Amazing resource! I worked with Chelsea for 9 months and the help she gave was immense. We started weekly and with each session I noticed my relationship with food began to change. Instead of focusing on weight and my body I was focused more on how I felt and the root causes of my relationship with food. Instead of focusing on weight we focused on “my true self” and what feeling happy meant to me. We soon discovered that with all the diets and eating disorder struggles the main goal was I wanted to be happy. “Working with Chelsea was one of the biggest and best decisions I have ever made. I was hesitant at first to work with anyone I hadn't met before and let them know the real ME. But Chelsea made me feel so comfortable and right away I felt a deep connection with her. She understood me and never once judged me. “Before I worked with Chelsea, I found most of my days consumed with counting macros, or thinking about what my next meal was. (Later, I realized it was because I was not eating enough and depriving myself on a physical and emotional level.)  I was neurotic about weighing my food to the gram. I would save up my calories for my evening snack and then end up overdoing it and feeling guilty. Then I would go to the gym like a crazy person, and try to eat less the next day to make up for it. This was all I knew for 20+ years.

I was really scared to commit to using a coach but was mentally and physically exhausted from it all and knew I couldn’t go on like this. I was ready to break free from the dieting mindset but couldn’t do it alone. But working with Chelsea was not as scary as I had imagined. "I can wholeheartedly say that working with Chelsea was the best decision I made in a long time. I have dealt with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, and lack of self-worth all which manifested in disordered eating and compulsive behavior.
