Healthy Lemonade/Limeade

It is HOTTTT in SoCal and I've found myself craving lemonade. You all know I'm a fan of starting my day with a room temp. glass of water + lemon juice for digestion, vitamin C and as an important healthy habit. So..I've always got lemon juice on hand and recently I also stocked up on lime juice to spice it up!

Coming in from a walk in the HEAT the other day I knew what I needed to do...and I decided to create a healthy "lemonade/limeade" recipe. I say both because it can be done with either lemon juice or lime juice and each taste seriously delicious. And I also say "recipe" lightly because this is SO simple can I even really call it that!? :)

This mega-refreshing beverage is sweetened with stevia (a 100% natural, non-artificial sweetener that I love) so you won't be spiking your blood sugar like regular lemonade!

  • 16 oz. filtered water
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice or lime juice
  • 1/8-1/4 tsp. 100% stevia (I like 1/4 but start small and see what you prefer)
  • 4 ice cubes


  • Fill your glass with water, ice and lemon/lime juice
  • Add in the stevia and stir well!
